Coaching is co-creation. It's a partnership. A coach isn’t a counsellor, consultant, therapist or advisor.
I don’t have your answers, but I can provide perspective, guidance and support. I can help you discover your answers and become the "you" expert that you are!
As a coach I work in service of your change and growth, and the development of you living the life you are truly capable of. My task is to work together with you for the common goal of maximizing your potential. I facilitate and help you keep your desired outcomes in mind. Through my knowledge, wisdom, life experiences, hacks and tools, I will add enormous value to your life.
Coaching is about forward momentum—how we go from current state to a future, better one. This forward-focus is a helpful way to identify a key difference between coaches and psychotherapists or counsellors. The latter are generally concerned with safely exploring and unpacking past events and trauma to facilitate healing, and promote future emotional wellbeing. They provide a valuable role on helping you be at peace with yourself and your life. Coaches are more interested in discovering how you’d like you and your life to be, creating practical strategies to get there and then getting the job done.
